Who we are
SwarmPage ("we", "us") operates the website at swarmpage.com (the "Service"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Service.
What we collect
- Account and contact details. When you sign up or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and similar identifiers provided by you or by our authentication provider.
- Newsletter and waitlist. If you join the newsletter or a waitlist, we store the email address you submit and related metadata (for example, which form you used).
- Usage information. We may collect technical and usage data such as browser type, device type, general location (e.g. region), pages viewed, and timestamps. This helps us run and improve the Service.
- Payment-related data. If you purchase a paid product, our payment processor handles card and billing details. We receive limited information needed to fulfil your subscription (such as transaction status and customer identifiers), not your full card number.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Send transactional messages (e.g. account, billing, security)
- Send editorial or product emails where you have opted in (e.g. newsletter)
- Understand how the Service is used and fix issues
- Comply with law and protect our rights and users
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in), preferences, analytics where enabled, and (where applicable) payment flows. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Service work. See our Cookie Policy for a short overview.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers who process data on our behalf or provide integrated functionality:
- Clerk — authentication, session management, and account-related data as described in their documentation and privacy terms.
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions and related billing events.
- Supabase — database and backend infrastructure; application data may be stored on Supabase systems in line with our configuration.
- Resend — transactional and product email delivery when we send messages through that platform.
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they process data. We only share what is needed for the Service.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and security requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it in line with our practices and applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights or ask questions, contact us at editor@swarmpage.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards apply where required by law.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
